The ISSENDORFF KG was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Eberhard Issendorff in 1986 located in Hanover. The first major focus of this business was on development of PC hardware and software, additionally slaes and installation of networks. Over a short period the small company became an aspiring medium-sized one. In the early nineties there was a decision to extend the business apart from PC sales activities. On the Hanover Industry Fair in 1992 the concept of the Local Control Network (LCN) was presented. With a huge interest in this market first prototypes went to series production and first projects came up.
Nevertheless, the focus of the company stayed on the PC business, as this assured the financial base for the creation of LCN. From 1994 on LCN became the main product, which is still positioned in a growing market segment. After some first reference projects, more technically challenging came up. In 1996, LCN was, as the first of its kind, installed for Formula One motorsport applications at the Lausitzring and established as obligatory. In 1998, the Deutsche Bahn used LCN in their DB Cargo Centers 1 and 2, in 1999 the Main Tower in Frankfurt/Main started operation. At the latest, this reference showed the technical possibilities of the product LCN, the development force of its founder and the flexibility of the company in terms of building automation, still valid today.
The ISSENDORFF KG is the only producing company who realizes the complete hardware and software development in-house. Independent in production and supported by a dense network of sales and cooperation partners, LCN has only one target: perfection.
