In the course of renovation work, the venerable St. Jakobus Church in R\u00fcdesheim am Rhein received state-of-the-art building control technology from ISSENDORFF KG. In a first expansion stage, the LCN bus system controls the lighting in the church, the oldest parts of which date back to the 10th century.<\/p>\n

As large distances have to be bridged with cables in the church, LCN-IS isolating amplifiers ensure that the bus signals are amplified, as the bus cable can be up to 1000 m long after each LCN-IS. These modules also offer galvanic isolation of the bus signals.<\/p>\n

The system is operated via two central control units. On the one hand, a panel in the sacristy with the floor plan of the church offers the option of switching individual groups of lights via push-buttons at the appropriate points. Additional push-buttons are installed on the panel for calling up light scenes. LEDs also provide information about the switching status of all lighting groups. As some places in the church cannot be seen from the sacristy, an LCN-GT12 glass keypad with twelve buttons, twelve LEDs and a bar graph in the choir provides a second operating option for the LCN bus system.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
