The LCN bus system from ISSENDORFF KG makes it very easy to implement convenient heating control. All you need is a temperature sensor like the one in the glass keypads of the LCN-GT series or an external sensor like the LCN-TS. An LCN-AVN is mounted as the actuator for the radiator and the LCN-UPP module, which is usually present anyway, takes over the actual control task.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sophisticated bus technology, supported by sensitive temperature sensors and automatic actuators, ensures a pleasant climate in living and functional spaces – so that energy efficiency and cost savings do not have to come at the expense of comfort. Due to constantly rising energy costs, efficient use of heating energy is becoming more and more important. In order to save up to 10% energy and thus money, it is often recommended to lower the room temperatures by one or 2\u00b0C. However, this method quickly reaches its limits, because the individual comfort zone cannot be lowered at will. Nevertheless, by combining the heating individual room control with the LCN bus system, an intelligent temperature control can be realized that is adapted to the individual needs.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The usual mechanical thermostatic valves for radiator control operate as P-controllers with a relatively flat characteristic curve, which means that only conditionally satisfactory temperature control can be achieved. In addition, they are hardly ever operated properly. With electronic control via a bus system, such incorrect operation can be easily eliminated and a balanced room temperature can be achieved.
If an LCN bus module UPP is already installed in a room, e.g. for lighting control, it can often be used for temperature control at the same time: Each of its two electronically controlled 230 V outputs can directly control an LCN-AVN electric actuator. If a glass keypad of the LCN-GT series is already installed in the room, the temperature sensor integrated in it can provide the actual value for the control. Otherwise, all that is needed is an external temperature sensor.
The LCN bus modules each contain two independent proportional controllers (P-controllers) and a five-stage threshold value processing. These function independently of each other and each have their own variable for the measured value, so that actuating controllers that react independently of each other can be connected to a bus module. For example, one controller can control the heating and a second the air conditioning. With P-controllers, the manipulated variable (output) can assume any value from 0 to 100% within the control range (proportional band). If the manipulated variable is a relay, this is switched at half of the control range.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
