It has connections for the actual LCN bus of the installation and the LCN two-wire bus. Since it does not have its own processor, parameterization by the LCN system software LCN-PRO is not required. Each LCN-IS2 allows the connection of max. 1 km of NYM cable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fields of application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For signal amplification of the LCN bus.<\/li>\n<li>For galvanic isolation of different installation areas or RCD residual current circuit breaker areas within an LCN segment.<\/li>\n<li>Is required for signal conversion and conditioning for the LCN fiber optic couplers LCN-LLK or LCN-LLG.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There may only be one two-wire bus per segment. The maximum length of the two-wire bus, from the first to the last LCN-IS2, is 50 m.
