High-tech in the straw house

Consistently ecological, energy-efficient and an optimal indoor climate: In Eppingen, a private house built entirely of natural materials has been created from a wooden substructure with 1,500 bales of straw and around 60t of clay. In addition to the natural building materials, the controlled living space ventilation with LCN CO2 sensors ensures an optimal climate in the straw bale house near Heilbronn – as well as the efficient use of energy.
