LCN-EL4+
The LCN-EL4+ four-channel dimmer is designed for simple and flexible control of LEDs with constant voltage such as LED strips or LED floodlights. The LCN-EL4+ masters the control of the LEDs according to the HSB and RGB color model. Via the HSB color model, color saturation, brightness and and color value can be controlled separately. It can be connected to all LCN modules, preferably where the outputs are not used elsewhere, for example on the LCN-SHS. It transmits the brightness values of the (virtual) electronic outputs 1 to 4 via the I-connection to the LCN-EL4+. The LCN-EL4+ converts these values into a PWM signal for the LEDs. It is connected to the I-port of an LCN module from firmware 170212 (February 2013). The total power of the four outputs is 480 watts, and up to seven LCN-EL4+ can be operated on one bus module.
Fields of application:
- Control of constant voltage LED system including switching and dimming in color values.
Parameterization of the LCN-EL4+ requires the LCN-PRO parameterization software from version 6.6.x.
A 12 or 24 V= power supply with overload protection is still required! The power supply unit used must be pulse-resistant and voltage-stable and provide a power reserve of 30%. For detailed information, please refer to the installation instructions.
